He found a magical mermaid. The mermaid said "I'll grant you five wishes".

For his first wish, he wished for...
...an oven for his wife to cook the fish he catches. For his second wish he wished for all the money in the world. He said, "Wait! I forgot! It wasn't supposed to be greee..." But it was too late! He was turned into a sardine.

ReplyDeleteHe found the mermaid and pestered her for three weeks until she finally relented and said she'd give him a quest to fulfill in exchange for becoming a human again...
"Little sardine man, your quest is to swim up a waterfall and find the Jewel of Humanity. It is locked inside a treasure chest in a cave at the top of the waterfall." He said, "But what does it look like?" The mermaid said, "You'll know it when you see it."

DeleteHe could not open it because he's a sardine and has no arms! But he went and found a statue. And he started ramming the statue until it broke. And then he found a key inside the statue. And then he grabbed it in his mouth and unlocked the chest. Inside....
